What’s in Pack DK?
The DK Pack contains the central module or CORE (DKC) that includes GPS and an international SIM card, bilge water sensor (DKA), battery sensor (DKB), shore power sensor 220V (DKC), and motion sensor (DKP). In addition, it includes the subscription for the first year, so you only have to place them on your boat.
How is installation made ?
All DOKENSIP EVO sensors work wirelessly. Our sensors are equipped with internal batteries with long autonomy. The CORE connects to 12/24 V and has an internal emergency battery in case of power failure.
Can I expand the system?
There is no limit to the number of devices that can be linked to the DOKENSIP EVO Core module, so you can configure your system however you want.
I have several boats, will I be able to see the status of all of them in a simple way?
Both the mobile application and the desktop version allow the management and display of as many devices as you have associated with your account.
How do I know if I have service at my port?
By working with GPRS 2G/3G/4G Multi Operator technology, DOKENSIP EVO has a coverage of almost 100%. Even so, if your equipment does not have connectivity, tell us where it is, and we will refund your amount.
Can I install DOKENSIP on my boat?
DOKENSIP EVO is designed for use on sailboats and motor boats, of standard construction regardless of their length, so let’s try it !!
What are the ‘Dokies’?
The Dokies are devices associated with the CORE module that allow the emission of ‘warnings’ instead of ‘alarms’. In this way, it is possible to know that someone known has entered on board, but it is not considered an alert.
Can I have more than 1 Dokie?
With the purchase of an EVO PACK a DOKIE is included. Additionally, you can add as many as you want.
If an alarm is generated, and I am out of coverage, what happens?
An email will be received at the specified email addresses, and a PUSH notification will be received on the mobile terminals where the application is installed. In addition, an SMS will be sent to a total of up to 3 contacts provided, and our technicians will notify the designated contacts in order of importance. We will make sure that the alert is received by someone.
What is the necessary maintenance of the DOKENSIP EVO system?
Simply replace the batteries in the sensors that require it. In each transmission, the battery status of the sensors is reported, and it is visible both in the mobile application and in the Web application.
While I’m sailing, can someone else see where I am?
Once on board, the alarms will be deactivated, but not the report of information as long as we are in the coverage area. This information will continue to be recorded in the DOKENSIP EVO system and may be viewed by third parties from the web, the mobile app, or the “Share my location” option in the app.
Can I install the APP on my mobile or tablet?
DOKENSIP APP is developed for both Android and IOS mobiles / tablets.
I can’t get DOKENSIP to detect my Dokie
If the system cannot detect your Dokie, it could be due to two problems that you can easily solve:
Bring the Dokie closer to the CORE and wait a few minutes, if the system still does not detect it, continue with the following checks.
Check that the DOKIE is turned on. To do this, press the logo printed on it for 3-5 seconds. You will see a blue light (very bright can be hard to see). If the light is solid, the DOKIE is on. If it flashes, the DOKIE is off.
If you don’t see any lights, the DOKIE’s battery is dead. Proceed to your replacement.
I just got a new Dokie, how do I register it in the system?
With the purchase of an EVO PACK, a Dokie is included, it is already linked to the system, therefore you will see it in your APP without doing anything. But if you buy a new Dokie, you have to register it in the system. To do this, follow the steps indicated in the app manual.
How to renew the subscription?
If you have just received an email notifying you of the proximity of the end of your subscription, you can renew it from the same mobile app, by clicking on the “Renew” button that appears within the Core information. Follow the steps indicated in the manual to complete the payment with your usual credit card, through Stripe’s secure platform.
